When heart-break.com asked us to integrate their site into a WordPress-powered site, it was quite a tough call. We gotta finish it in quite a short time: less than a week!

But hey, we are WordPress ninjas. Just like the other previous missions, it was a challenge just to be tackled.

So, with fully-recharged coffee cups and extra shurikens, we worked on our WordPress ninjutsu to craft the site into a beautiful, valid one. Camera, roll. And… Action!

We found that the biggest challenge was developing a customizable framework that it would produce a WordPress-integrated CMS.

Recognizing heart-break.com needs and implementing them all in a site is a must, while WordPress itself has some limitations. When we tried to integrate the news video, for example, we could not upload video files directly via standard WordPress. Thus we created a video media uploader to facilitate it.

As you can see on the site itself, there are plenty of large images. Having all those images on one page might cause slow loading, yet our teammate Zam were able to optimize the speed. No need to brew a cup of coffee while waiting for a page to fully load.

Meanwhile, our CMS shinobies, Ibnu and Sule, put huge efforts to keep the site’s high usability. They, too, cast their CSS/XHTML spells that it is now a SEO-friendly site.

Best thing about this project… It’s a wrap! We finished it on time. It is now fully functioned, valid site for you movie goers. Watch the movie, btw. We heard it was good.
